Ballerina Chic...

With the recent success of Oscar winning movie Black Swan, it is now offically cool to revert back to childhood dreams of being a Prima Ballerina, dress up in tulle skirts and pirouette your way down the High Street. Okay, so maybe don't go that far, but definitely indulge in Forever Unique's pretty prom dresses, tie your hair up in a bun and take inspiration from Chloe and Chanel's catwalks by swapping your heels for ballet pumps.

70's Glamour...

With ultra glam Seventies Style sweeping the fashion world, we here at Forever Unique HQ thought we would share some inspiration from late fashion photographer Guy Bourdin who shot high profile ad campaigns for Charles Jourdan and filled the pages of 1970's Vogue with his glossy images which captured the essence of his era.

To get that 70's Glam look team an opulent dress (at Forever Unique we have lots of those, but we've picked a few out for you below) with shimmery eyes, defined cheekbones and high gloss matching lips and nails.  Wear hair big and accessorize with an oriental inspired flower and an envelope clutch.

Get Gossip Girl Serena's Look..

Blake Lively looks just as good on screen when playing Gossip Girl Serena van der Woodsen as she does off screen at glamorous fashion and red carpet events.
Wandering the streets of Paris in an episode from the latest series of the hit TV show, Serena displays how, with a few essential accessories and the odd styling trick, you can use an evening dress to achieve the perfect daytime, city chic look. She teamed her sparkly pink prom dress with a cool grey cotton blazer rolled up at the sleeves, nude brogues, stacked beaded bracelets and a cute straw hat, completing the relaxed and effortless look with minimal make-up and tousled hair.

To create 2 winning looks with just one dress use prom dress 'Peach'  as the core of your outfit and add layers and accessories a la Serena for that city chic vibe, or keep it simple with a box clutch and strappy heels to get Jennifer Lopez's glam evening look.

Vintage Oscars Snap...

After recent Oscars style obsessing, we thought we would share this beautiful image of Audrey Hepburn after winning an Oscar at the 1954 Academy Awards for her lead role in Roman Holiday, working a classic 50's Prom Dress and proving why for many, she is still the ultimate style icon...

Classy Black Dresses were few and far between with most red carpet regulars opting for more adventurous styles, however the ones that did make an appearance were by no means dull. Elizabeth Chambers and Busy Phillips wore strapless styles with structured folds and fishtail silhouette both exuding timeless Hollywood Glamour.
